About Us

Founded in 2018, Brisbane Spikers Volleyball Club is a place where you belong. We’re here to grow volleyball in South East Queensland, creating pathways for players, coaches, and volunteers to thrive, connect, and push their potential while building lifelong friendships through the game.

As a not-for-profit, we exist for our community. From first-time players to seasoned athletes, we foster an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy the game, develop their skills, and feel part of something bigger.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, partners, and volunteers, we’re able to offer programs for every stage of the journey from social games to elite competition. Together, we’re building a club that makes a positive impact on our members and the wider volleyball community.

Who We Are

Competitive Edge

We take volleyball seriously. Our competitive teams train with intent, compete in regional and national tournaments, and aim high. With experienced coaches guiding skills, strategy, and teamwork, we push players to reach their full potential.

Social Scene

Not everyone plays for medals and that’s the point. Our social programs bring people together for fun, fitness, and friendship on the court. It’s volleyball without the pressure: a chance to connect, stay active, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Community Spirit

We’re more than a club, we’re a community. At Spikers, everyone has a place. From tournaments and charity fundraising to local events, we give back, celebrate diversity, and create a culture where every member feels valued and connected.

Our Values

Realness

We bring our authentic selves to the club; honest, genuine, and proud of who we are.

We < Me

We put the team before the individual, knowing we are stronger together.

Play with Intent

We show up with focus, energy and respect for the game, our teammates and ourselves.

Make it Count

Every moment matters: in training, in competition and in the community.
