Open to players of all levels, this annual tournament is all about friendly competition, community spirit, and celebrating the game we love-right before the summer heat hits in full swing. Whether you're playing to win or just for the fun of it, Meltdown is the perfect way to wrap up the year on a high!

WHAT:
A one-day social volleyball tournament hosted by Brisbane Spikers Volleyball Club.
Expect good vibes, great rallies, and prizes up for grabs!
WHO:
Open to adult players of all skill levels.
Saturday Open Men and Women
Sunday Open Mixed Division
Perfect for friends, club mates, and social squads looking to finish the year with some volleyball fun.
COST:
$350 per team, including $100 deposit
Early Bird Discount:
$100 for Interstate teams
$50 for local teams
DEPOSIT:
The $100 deposit must be paid to confirm your team's registrations. Deposits are non-refundable.
⏰ EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: Opens Friday August 1st! Ends Saturday 23rd, August at 11:59 PM – so get in quick!
Registration Opens:
Official sign-ups begin Monday, August 24th at 12 PM and close Sunday, 19th October at 11:59 PM.
PRIZES:
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for the top 3 teams in each division, including MVP awards.
TOURNAMENT DRAW:
First draft of the draw will be available via the Brisbane Spiker's website, Facebook page and emails to captains/person of contact the Wednesday of the tournament (Nov 29th). Please note the draw may change during this time and it is the responsibility of the players to regularly check the draws via our website. Any major changes will be emailed to the team captains/point of contacts listed. All teams are required to duty games. This does not include the first referee for the finals.
REFUNDS:
There will be no refund of registration fees that withdraw after October 3rd, 2025, teams that do not show on the days of competition, any teams with invalid players (no VQ or state membership), or "change of mind" reasons.

Mens: 2.43m
Womens: 2.24m
Mixed: 2.35m
VOLUNTEERS:
If you, or anyone you know would like to volunteer for this event, we are more than happy to have you! We'll provide food, some free Spikers Merch and a great experience! Please contact us via our email: brisbane.spikers@gmail.com for more information. Volunteer roles include checking in teams, collecting scoresheets, equipment register, and many more!
FIVB rules apply. Official Referees will be provided for finals. All players must be financial VQ (or their state) members or a waiver must be signed by the due date.
